I don’t know much about art but I know what I like. And

This PAINTING is a poem Is a MESSAGE .But What’s

it worth.? See the way the artist SPLASHES LIGHT across

the canvas ?.giving clues hiding behind a subtle nay. subdued cacophony

OF RAINBOW COLOUR , and yet using subtle shades

of nuance which QUESTIONS THE INTEGRITY and

indeed the value of Art . OF THE ARTIST . Life. The universe and indeed everything .It questions EVERYTHING. It’s preposterous in its gravity. It’s SHREWD! Even cunning .. Sombre like a hearse yet not

without a hint of SATIRICAL HUMOUR and abstract in such a

translucent way you need a long time IN REFLECTION before the

ripples break the mirrored surface leading to an UNDERSTANDING of the underlying texture OF THE TRUTH . And the truth …..

The Truth ..just like a mantra repeats itself . Just like a manta it

repeats itself . Just like a mantra it REPEATS ITSELF . Just

like a mantra it repeats itself. Again and again and again it repeats itself Sometimes ARROGANT IN ITS AUDACITY Sometimes

soothing like a chakra . Sometimes savage like a raging bull , Or the DEVIL when he’s cheated of a SOUL that he thinks that he deserved . IT’S QUESTIONING . Questioning its very own worth and our BELIEFS in its existence, in its existence in our existence, .beliefs

IN OUR VERY EXISTENCE The Existence of life in

THE UNIVERSE The Cosmos , Everything IS QUESTIONED IN THIS PAINTING But it has no message .. It has no message. Yet because it has no message it speaks a Universal tongue A UNIVERSAL TONGUE Its message is universal, it has no message and yet its message is UNEQUIVOCAL for those who wish to seek and find The Truth ,

SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND not its truth. Not their TRUTH . But your truth For ITS BEAUTY LIES. Yes it lies

It lies LIKE HUMANITY , It lies like a POLITICIAN a HYPOCRITE or a PAINTER or a POET or a PRIEST .

Yes this painting is a masterpiece .. But it has NO WORTH at all Because this painting is a poem and like a PICASSO or a MONET Or AN EMIN Or a HIRST all PERSPECTIVE IS AWRY . Because art , ALL ART , all painting .all words, including this poem ..IS AN EGO DRIVEN NONSENSE and is worth Fuck All

to a teen-ager with no home. a man facing the EXECUTIONERS SWORD or a CHILD just a bowl of gruel away from LIFE OR DEATH IN AFRICA. Unless it makes you THINK . about the value of a HUMAN LIFE which is PRICELESS OR WORTHLESS depending upon an accident of BIRTH . So This painting is a poem is a MESSAGE… IS A NONSENSE
