Rogues Bard - Songs - In Memory of Frank Helm

IN MEMORY OF FRANK HELM.

In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place
Just a fragile member of the human race.
Just a simple wooden bench on the road to Clodgy Head
We’re an awful short time living and a very long time dead

If like a cat I had nine lives I’d spend them in St ives
In memory of Frank helm who loved this place.

In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place
Just a fragile member of the human race
Just a simple wooden bench on the route to Clodgy Head
Were an awful short time living and very long time dead
Hepworth and Ben Nicholson , Alfred Wallis too
All of them have stood here admiring this view
And now I’m sitting here writing this song just for you
In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place.

In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place
Just a fragile member of the human race..
In view of ancient mariners, their names engraved in stone
This legacy ensures that you will never walk alone
For many years you stood here admiring this view
And now I’m sitting here writing this song just for you

In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place
Just a fragile member of the human race
Just a simple wooden bench on the road to Clodgy Head
Were an awful short time living and an awful long time dead
John Thomas and Sinky Sinclair both have seats here too
Their names engraved in brass but I wrote this song for you

If like a cat I had nine lives I’d live them in St Ives
In memory of Frank Helm who loved this place
